Aspire

Aspire is our dedicated program to expand access to essential SRH services for marginalized communities. The program focuses on removing barriers to critical services, including menstrual health, family planning, and comprehensive health education.

Through a blend of community outreach, direct service delivery, and education-focused campaigns, Aspire seeks to reshape both the delivery and perception of SRH services. By equipping individuals with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need, we work to build healthier, more empowered communities where everyone can make informed decisions about their bodies, health, and futures with confidence and dignity.

At its core, Aspire is about more than health—it’s about justice and agency. We recognize that marginalized communities face layered barriers rooted in stigma, displacement, poverty, and systemic neglect. Aspire meets these challenges with care that is not only accessible but also affirming. We meet people where they are, honor their lived experiences, and work to ensure that no one is left behind in the pursuit of health and dignity.

Through Aspire, we:

  • Promote menstrual health.
  • Engage communities to challenge stigma and foster open, informed dialogue about SRHR.

2025 Health System Report
Over 70% of Tigray’s health facilities were left nonfunctional due to conflict. Through partnerships, we provide state-of-the-art medical equipment and supplies, rebuild sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, and strengthen healthcare systems to ensure survivors receive quality care.
Gradual Change
Survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) face significant challenges in Ethiopia’s legal system. We provide legal counseling, rights education, and courtroom advocacy while training public defenders to adopt survivor-centered approaches.
