At Harambee Collective, we take a survivor-centered, rights-based, and comprehensive approach to advancing SRHR and preventing and responding to GBV. We know that access to care and protection isn’t just about services—it’s about power, justice, and dignity. That’s why we work to tackle the structural drivers of inequality, including harmful gender norms, systemic discrimination, and the breakdown of essential health and protection systems in fragile settings.
Our work is rooted in the lived realities of the communities we serve. Through partnership with local stakeholders, we support survivors with integrated, trauma-informed services—connecting them to healthcare, psychosocial support, legal assistance, and safe spaces. At the same time, we invest in building stronger systems by training frontline providers, strengthening referral networks, and working with local partners to ensure quality, accessible care.
We believe prevention is just as critical as response. Through community engagement and education, we aim to shift harmful attitudes and create environments where individuals can live free from violence—and where everyone has the knowledge, tools, and agency to make informed choices about their bodies and futures.
